The 3-Day Soup Cleanse: Eat as much Soup as You Want and Fight Inflammation, Belly Fat, and Disease

As we live in a highly toxic world, our bodies need a proper detox from time to time in order to function optimally. This is why a lot of people turn to various cleansing methods with the goal to eliminate waste from the body, cleanse the skin, rejuvenate the organs, and maintain a youthful appearance.


Though there are plenty of detox methods, cleanses with juices remain the most beneficial one. The fruits and veggies purify the body from waste and supply it with the necessary vitamins and minerals and it maintains an optimal level of energy. The antioxidants in fruits and veggies will regenerate the skin and slow down the aging process.


Soups are without doubt one of the purest meals you can ever consume because they are rich in nutrients and have detoxifying characteristics. When you eat vegetable soups, you supply the body with the needed fatty and amino acids and the spices that will ease the digestion and make your immune system stronger. As they are rich in fiber, soups will elevate your energy levels, regulate your weight, and control your blood sugar levels.


Ideally, a soup cleanse should last from one to three days. The first phase begins with one day and after a month, it should last three days. You need to eat from 5 to 6 soups on a daily basis and you need to prepare veggie soups with various different vegetables as well as healing spices.

While on a soup cleanse, it is pivotal to drink enough water and stay hydrated at all times. Water will encourage the flushing of waste. To have enough soup for the detox plan, prepare it in advance.


Broccoli soup

You will need:

Two and a half cups of broccoli

3 celery stalks, diced

An onion

A cup of spinach or kale

2 carrots, chopped

Half a tsp of salt

Juice from half a lemon

2 tbsp of coconut oil

2 tbsp of collagen

Preparation: Heat the coconut oil first in a larger pot and then add the celery, broccoli, and onion and cook them for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Next, add the broth and leave the soup to simmer for 5 minutes or until it softens and the ingredients blend well. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the soup until it thickens. Remove it from the stove and serve!

Carrot and ginger soup

You will need:

2 pounds of carrots, chopped

2 onions, peeled and chopped

6 cups of vegetable broth

3 tbsp of ginger, grated

 3 garlic cloves, chopped

A cup of coconut milk

Black pepper, sea salt, and onion powder to taste

2 tbsp of coconut oil

2 tbsp of collagen powder

Preparation: In a pot, add the carrots, broth, ginger, and garlic and bring the mixture to boil and then leave it to simmer. Next, in a separate pan, sauté the onions and add the collagen and cook until caramel-like. Add the vegetable broth and the sautéed onions in a blender and blend them well. Add the coconut milk and seasonings at the end.

Red lentil soup

You will need:

¼ cup of coconut oil or ghee

2 sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped

An apple, peeled and chopped

An onion, chopped

2 carrots, peeled and chopped

Half a cup of red lentils

Half a tsp of cumin, ground

Half a tsp of chili powder

Half a tsp of paprika

4.5 cup of vegetable broth

An inch of ginger, peeled and minced

Black pepper and salt to taste

Coconut cream for topping

Preparation: Warm up the oil in a pot and add the potatoes, carrots, apples, and onions and cook until crystallized, i.e. about 10 minutes. Add the ginger, cumin, lentils, chili powder, paprika, and broth and cook the soup for 30 minutes until the ingredients soften and the mixture thickens. When ready, season it well and add the coconut cream.
